Detailed Recipe

Base spirit

Bourbon Whiskey 60ml

Ingredients

  • Cube Sugar1 blocks
  • Angostura Bitters3 drops
  • Purified Water5 ml
  • Large Ice Cube1 blocks
  • Orange peel1 blockbuster

Preparation Steps

  1. 1Add sugar cubes to a rocks glass, then add bitters and a splash of water.
  2. 2Gently crush and stir the sugar cube with the back of a spoon until dissolved.
  3. 3Add large clear ice cubes to fill the glass.
  4. 4Slowly pour in the bourbon whiskey
  5. 5Gently stir 5-6 times with a spatula to mix.
  6. 6Peel an orange, squeeze the zest over the rim to release the essential oils, then drop it into the glass.

💡 Bartending Tips

Use large clear ice cubes for slower melting and to avoid over-diluting the drink. Peel orange zest thickly to extract enough essential oils.
